Q1: How do I apply to become a member?

A1: Apply at the front desk of any Tango hotel.

 

Q2: What information is required to become a member?

A2: Just inform the reception staff that you wish to become a member.

 

Q3: What is my member number?

A3: Your passport number is also your member number.

 

Q4: How do I check my accumulative Reward Points?

A4: Inquire at the reception desk at any of our hotels.

 

Q5: Will I earn Reward Points for any booking I make?

A5: Yes, you earn Reward Points when you make a booking through our official site. Bookings made through third-party travel booking sites, travel agencies, and other channels apart from our official site are ineligible for accumulating Reward Points. We also remind you that bookings made under corporate/special concessionary bookings are also excluded from the Rewards Points Program.

 

Q6: I have a contract with the hotel and enjoy special contract rates. Can I also collect Reward Points?

A6: Yes, your purchases under contract rates can be calculated into the Reward Points Program. Please note special concessionary bookings are excluded from the Reward Points Program.

 

Q7: I booked through a third-party travel booking site and paid at the reception in cash. Do I still qualify for the Reward Points?

A7: No, bookings made with third-party travel booking sites are ineligible for this Reward Points Program.

 

Q8: I booked through email/telephone; do I qualify for Reward Points?

A8: Yes, you can accumulate Reward Points while enjoying our on-site special room prices.

 

Q9: I have booked 2 or more rooms. Can I accumulate all the Reward Points under my single membership account?

A9: Yes, we can accumulate them under your membership account. Please note that you need to inform our staff of your intention to accumulate multi-room Reward Points under your single account during your stay. We cannot accept such requests after check-out.

 

Q10: Why are rooms booked under special concessionary rates not eligible for receiving Reward Points?

A10: Concessionary bookings enjoy special rates so they are not eligible for Reward Points.

 

Q11: What benefits do I gain from collecting Reward Points?

A11: The Reward Points can be used to redeem select merchandise offered by The Tango Hotels & Resorts©.

 

Q12: Can the Reward Points be exchanged for cash/in lieu of cash?

A12: No, the Reward Points cannot be considered as cash for making payments.

 

Q13: Is there an expiry date on the Reward Points?

A13: The Reward Points are valid for three years after each purchase. Member Points will be settled and cleared on January 1 of every third year for accumulative Reward Points collected from January 1 to December 31 of the previous three years. For example: Customer A collected 3 Reward Points when he checked out on March 1, 2021. The 3 Points will be effective until December 31, 2024. Any unused Points after the effective date on the member’s account will be automatically reset.

 

 

Q14: Is there a physical Membership Card?

A14: No physical cards are issued. Our computer program records the accumulative Reward Points for all of our customers. When a member books and stays in our hotel, the system will automatically draw up the information of eligible members.

 

Q15: What merchandise is available?

A15: Availability of quantity of merchandise change from time to time. You can redeem any physical product available at any of our hotels you stay in. Information on merchandise is available on our official site.

 

Q16: How do I redeem merchandise with my Reward Points?

A16: Please redeem your intended merchandise at the front desk reception anytime during your stay.

 

Q17: For bookings on two or more rooms, if the names of staying guests are different, how do I accumulate Reward Points on a single membership account?

A17: During your stay, please inform our reception staff that you wish to accumulate Reward Points under one single membership account. Transactions will be recorded and settled under your account.

 

Q18: Concessionary rates are ineligible for Reward Points. What is your definition of concessionary rates?

A18: Concessionary rates are defined as special corporate contract rates or monthly rates. These are ineligible for the Reward Points Program.
